About Q-Rack

Since 1992, I have owned many Subarus and I quickly discovered how weak the factory steering system was. In 2002, I got involved with the Subaru Rally Team of Canada. At that time, I worked with all kinds of CNC machines and I was asked to manufacture parts for their Rally cars. I was quite excited to get involved in the research of the development of a quicker steering.

Ensuring that the steering column will collapse safely in the event of a collision, we right away ruled out any kind of in-column steering quikener. The only option we had was to alter the ratio inside of the steering rack, which does not affect any safety features.

Having been involved in aviation all my life, safety was always the biggest concern. Because of this, it took us over a year to develop and test the Q-Rack before we felt confident enough to offer them for sale. Now, our Q-Racks are available all over the world.
